Linux/TMDX654IDKEVM: Power supply read

Part Number: TMDX654IDKEVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS62363

Tool/software: Linux

Hello,

Is there a software way to read the voltage of DC Jack in Linux?

I read the output voltage of the TPS62363 via I2C interface, but this is not what I need for my project.

Best regards!

  • Hi Silviu,

There is not a software method for reading that voltage. The pre-regulator power supplies are designed to accept any voltage between 11V and 28V as a source supply voltage. We do not need to know what that voltage is as long as it is within the limits specified by the over-voltage circuit.  Once the supply voltage is present, the rest of the supplies will be sequenced by their power good signals.

    Regards, Bill
