Linux/PROCESSOR-SDK-AM335X: USB2 OTG Kernel configuration

Tool/software: Linux

Customer had a problem to setup AM335x into USB2 OTG mode so I recommended to check out this patch e2e.ti.com/.../2779439 but it didn't help.

So it is probably an issue of a proper LINUX Kernel setup. Can you provide an example?

What version of the Processor SDK Linux does the customer use?

Please describe what exactly the problem is.

Hi Bin,

customer uses LINUX kernel 4.19 mainline.
He can configure USB as host or device but cannot set the interface in OTG mode.

Even the patch you posted e2e.ti.com/.../2779439 didn't help.

Very likely the referred patch is not needed at all.

Please explain "cannot set the interface in OTG mode" in details. What the customer did and what is unexpected behavior?

the customer dived deeper into this issue and it seem that he can solve it by himself.

I will come back if we need additional support.
