Hi,

Please reply as soon as possible as it is urgent.

This is my first time working with linux and AM3359 ICE. I am trying to implement the UARTecho example given in am335x_sysbios_ind_sdk_prebuilt_01_00_00_08. For flashing the SD card i am using APP and MLO files. But i am not getting anything on terminal. I think, i am doing something wrong or missing the steps. So please can anybody tell what are the steps/procedure to implement UARTecho example??

I am sorry that am335x_sysbios_ind_sdk_prebuilt_01_00_00_08 is obsolete and please use the Processor SDK RTOS for any AM3358x work. The latest version is 6.0 and can be downloaded from:

The UART driver is explained at: http://software-dl.ti.com/processor-sdk-rtos/esd/docs/latest/rtos/index_device_drv.html#uart

Those examples are CCS project that you can import and build and run via JTAG. The CCS build process also invokes a post processing script to convert the .out file into app. Then you can copy the APP + MLO into a SD card to test. For the MLO, it is under pdk_am335x_1_0_xx\packages\ti\starterware\binary\bootloader\bin\am335x-evm\gcc\bootloader_boot_mmcsd_a8host_release_ti.bin
