Compiler/AM3358: UART3 configuration

Dear,

We are using AM3358 processor for development in that we have to interface UART3 module in UART mode. we also going to used CTS and RTS Pins for UART communication.

Please share us C code for UART3 configuration as soon as possible.

Which SDK are you using - Linux or TI-RTOS?

I am using AM335X_Startware_02_00_01_01 for reference.

and we are using code composer studio for developing. and writing a code in normal C.

AM335x Starterware is no longer supported. Please migrate to Processor SDK RTOS for AM335x which is the only software supported by TI for this platform. We have plenty of UART3 examples for icev2AM335x which also uses the same UART instance as debug UART. Please check out the UART diagnostics code and UART LLD driver example and test for example code.

Please note after you setup Processor SDK RTOS environment, and setup CCS, you are required to run PdkPRojectCreate script to create the CCS projects using the source in the package. Follow the getting started and build PDK examples from the software developers guide.

Please note that the UART LLD and UART Example provided in RTOS/bare-metal example only uses TX and RX pins so if there is additional CTS and RTS functionality required, you will need to add the functionality to existing code based on your usecase.
