AM5728: USB problem with IDK

What USB device is connected to AM57x USB port?

The software is Linux. (am57xx-evm-linux-06.00.00.07.img)

The USB3.0 stick can be detected.

But the USB type B and micro B (5 pins) can not be detected.

I guess you meant the "type A" port. So you tested both USB ports on the AM572x IDK and none of them detects the USB stick, right?

For the micro-AB port, you have to have the correct usb adapter cable, which has the ID pin grounded in the cable.

But after you connected the USB stick to the USB type-A port, what 'lsusb -t' command outputs?

I am sorry for my description that caused you to misunderstand.

I have to connect two devices to the AM572x idk.

One is the Kuboki and the other is mmwave sensor EVM.

When I try to connect these two devices to the standard A-type port on the AM572x idk, the devices can not be detected.

When I connect these two devices to the Micro-AB port on the AM572x idk, the devices can be detected.

I wonder if the standard A-type port has some issues, so I try USB stick.

The USB stick can be detected through standard A-type port.

Are the Kudoki and the mmwave EVM super-speed or high-speed devices?

When you plug any of them to the EVM type-A port, does the EVM linux console print any log message?

The last log shows the mmwave EVM is a usb full-speed device.

Is it possible for you to try to connect a USB2.0 (not USB3.0) hub on the AM572x-IDK type-A port then connect the mmwave EVM to the hub to see if it gets enumerated?

I probably could get a mmwave board early next week to test it out. But for now Is it possible for you to try to connect a USB2.0 (not USB3.0) hub on the AM572x-IDK type-A port then connect the mmwave EVM to the hub to see if it gets enumerated?
