    Note that BEAGLEBK board does not have external audio codec attached to McASP module, while AM335x EVM has AIC3x codec attached to McASP.

    In BEAGLEBK board, only HDMI will give you audio capability. There is an I2S audio interface between the processor and the TDA19988. Stereo audio can be transported over the HDMI interface to an audio equipped display.
