I've been looking for more information on the DDRPHYCTL1[31:17] DLL settings - I see some variation between various boot code chunks, from various sources, and would like to understand the bitfield structure and how changing the values will impact DLL tap settings and DLL operation. Where can I find more information?

This bit field is described in sec 4.12 (table 34) of http://focus.ti.com/lit/ug/sprueh7d/sprueh7d.pdf. It is basically a counter that counts the cycles from the time RESET occurs to the time the DLL powers up; the default value for this 0x2800 but can be adjusted as needed depending on the external DDR2 device used.
