Hii,

Can anybody help me finding the solutions for the below points ?

1. Where can I get the source code for flashWriter program ?

2. How can we change the default uart3 to uart1 to get the debug prints for RTOS QSPI/SD booting ?

3, Otherwise is there any way we can get the debug prints on the CCS console ?

Arpita,

There are a couple of places where we provide flash writers in the SD. We provide a CCS based flashing tool in PDK boot package and a UART based production flashing tool in the board package

There are plenty of E2E posts that describe changing of debug UART. I am listing a few. This mostly required changing the board library source. board_cfg.h file has the UART INSTANCE setting, idkam571x_clock.c has the clock setting and boardPad* files have the pinmux setting. The process of porting board library is described here:

The bootloader calls into the board library to setup the debug UART so after making changes in the board library, you need to rebuild the SBL to have the debug logs redirected to UART1. I don`t see the point on redirecting the prints to CCS when booting from QSPI as you can only connect to device after it has booted from QSPI. You can enable semihosting support using rdimon library in GCC compiler to see logs in CCS
