TDA2PXEVM: ROI Support for GLBGE/Iridix

Hello,

In the TI driver interface there is no GLBGE/Iridix Region of interest support. In the registry description there is a section about this, which is marked as TBD.
So the question is - is there ROI support in GLBCE?

GLBCE as module does not support ROI. Any specific region you require ROI in GLBCE?

Hello,

The case is the following:
For Computer vision purposes the whole image should be processed.
For Human vision purposes only part of the image (specified as ROI) is cropped from the final YUV image (in DSP) and displayed.
As required, AEC is based on ROI image only. But GLBCE is analyzing if the whole image changes even when scene changes are outside of ROI. We have to limit statistics analyzing of GLBCE for that ROI.
In TRM there exists GLBCE_TILE_CONTROL with Top, Left, Width, Height... Could we use it for that purpose?

Hi Todor,

This tile feature may not be available in TDA2p GLBCE, although the register interface is exposed in TRM.

Is it possible for you to crop the input image before going through GLBCE?
