Hello,

Our board with a AM3517 (XAM3517 on the board now) has a Samsung NAND K9F1G08 (Samsung NAND device ID: 0xec, 0xF1, 0x00, 0x95, 0x40 128MiB 3,3V 8-bit))

connected on CS0.

from CCS we launch X-loader : X-loader starts ... loads u-boot ... loads kernel and so on.

but at power on the ROM boot does not load x-loader.

The x-loader has been loaded in the flash as shown in the PSP documentation from x-loader.bin.ifl with size and load address in the first locations.

Did I something wrong?

You probably did not flash the image correctly. Please see http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Flash_v1.0_User_Guide to properly flash the device.

the x-loader image I flashed was the same that Iused from CCS and that works correctly.

I signed it up and I can read it from CCS : it looks correct.
I downloaded it with the serial port


mw.b 0x80000000 0xFF 0x40000
loadb 0x80000000

transfer file ..... (x-loader.bin.ift)


nand erase 0  0x40000
nandecc hw
nand write 0x80000000 0 0x40000

the tracing vector at address 0x4020FFB0 has the value 0x0000081F... can this be useful to solve the problem?
