Does DM6467 supports SMPTE 296?

Hi All,

In VPIF user guide it is mentioned that its going to support BT656, BT1120 and SMPTE 296.

But in DM6467 datasheet it is only mentioned BT656 and BT1120 supported.

SMPTE 296M is really just a sub set of 1120 specifically for 720p, so should be covered by the 1120 capabilities.

Thanks Steve,

I have one more question. In our application we are planing to use the GS2972 SDI serializer. Below are some standards supported apart from SMPTE 296M. I just want to know as BT1120 is a 1080 capable standard, Is there any 1080 standard(SMPTE 295M / 274M) below supported by DM6467?

For the 295 & 274 standards below, you can use the following rule.

If the overall number of pixels per second is less than 75MHz / 1.2, you can use the regular DM6467 part; if more, you might need to consider the DM6467T part.

Could you please explain to me what 1:1, 2:1, PsF, and EM mean?
