Hi Team

We need a processor to design a product , some of the requirment attach below. Can you suggest a TI processor ?

1. > 1.5GHz

2. support 4 channel 1080p camera input and H265 hardware coder and decoder and save to HDD. (Key requirment)

3. 2CH G Ethernet port,

4. 1 ch sata3.0

5. 1 ch USB3.0 , 2ch USB2.0

Thanks for asking.

AM57x family supports all features you asked for but #2. The family supports 4x 1280 x 720 H264 encode/decode or 2x 1920x 1080 H264 encode/decode all at 30fps.

Thank you. Do you have anyother device to support these function ?

If we use AM5749 to do 4 x 1920x 1080 H264 encode/decode by software way. Can it do ? How will consume the processor's resource ?

Aggil,

AM574x and AM572x uses the same encoder/decoder,

There are 3P that can help you with doing the encoder/decoder by Software. For example PathPartner is one of them. Ittiam and D3 also can help.

I would check with them, since they are specialized in Codecs.
