hi,ti experts:

when we change the DDR from winbond to ISSI, the device can not boot up rightly:

the log is below:

Invalid Magic String in Boot Image
The Magic String is 0x43520000

Invalid Magic String in Boot Image
The Magic String is 0x435200ea

Valid App Image is not Available

The ISSI DDR has the same capacity as winbond, 2Gb, and the same hardware connection.

the emif register configuration is shown above(revision 2.0.2)

I fill the value of the generated register into the TDA2Px_set_emif1_params_ddr3_666 function() which in sbl_utils_tda2px_ddr_config.c, then found that the device cannot start properly

so, TI experts, can you tell me how to solve this problem? thanks very much!!

Hi,

It seems that the DDR is not fully functional and hence SBL is not able to boot multicore application image.

I will forward this thread to our DDR HW expert for guidance on DDR porting to ISSI.
