Hi,

I want to take i2s signal on gpio of AM5718idk.

Can we do this?

How to configure gpio registers for this purpose.

No, this is not possible. I2S must be input to one of the McASP peripherals.

Why I2S can't be taken on GPIOs. Is there any level difference.
CAn GPIOs be configured as McASP?

Is there any provision to take I2s signal in AM5718idk.
As i2s requirement is
MCLK input
LCLK input
BCLK input
Din input
Dout output

Can we use CLKOUT2, McASP3_FSX, McASP3_ACLKX, TP22(McASP2_AXR0), TP23(McASP2_AXR1) for this purpose.

Yes, this is the correct approach. You need to pinmux the pins you need to their McASP mode, though I am not sure you will find free McASP pins on the AM571x IDK.
