did no find am335x_evm_nor_config / am335x_evm_norboot_config under u-boot-2019.01.

How to build UBOOT-2019.01 to support NOR boot.

Hello Tony,

As mentioned in the following document, we do not support nor boot on AM335 (only SPI boot) and here is the reference patch that removed all the config files. Also, as discussed in the following thread, SPI boot is no longer working on AM335 (ti-u-boot 2019.01/2018.01) and I will file an internal ticket to account for the issue.

somebody ask about it again.

my question is parallel NOR flash, not SPI NOR flash, is it supported?

we see nor boot in current user guide, is the configuration merged into am335x_evm_defconfig? or not support anymore?

#2. I see am335x_evm_nor_config / am335x_evm_norboot_config in Processor SDK 5.03 u-boot-2018.01. so it is removed start from Processor SDK6? why?

Tony,

Yes it was deprecated as we see little interest in it and we do not have a board that supports it provided by TI.
