OMAP-L138 Evaluation module / experimenter kit

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OMAP-L138

Hi,

 I have a question on the available EV and experimenter kits for OMAP-L138

(see links at the bottom of this page :

http://www.logicpd.com/products/system-modules/texas-instruments-omap-l138-som-m1

)

It is mentioned that there is XDS100 emulation circuitry on the board. Does this mean I cannot debug this board using XDS510 USB PLUS emulator or is it fully compatible with XDS 100 and can be used?

( see this link for XDS510 I have mentioned :: http://focus.ti.com/dsp/docs/thirdparty/catalog/devtoolsproductfolder.tsp?actionPerformed=productFolder&productId=316

)

Regards...

    The XDS100 emulation circuit is built into the board.  You can connect directly to the board via a mini-USB to USB cable (without the need to use an external JTAG emulator).

    There are also JTAG pins on the EVM, so you have the flexibility to use the XDS510 USB PLUS emulator as well.
