Hello, TI Experts,

Our customer sent us a question about "how to replace DP83822I from TLK110" on TMDSICE3359

with PROCESSOR-SDK-RTOS-AM335x.

They tried to design the EtherCAT Slave custom board referring TMDSICE3359 scchematic.

But they need to replace DP83822I from TLK110 because of NRND.

Question:

- Are there recommended way or related document to replace DP83822I from TLK110 on TMDSICE3359?

We would appreciate if you also tell us the successful way or notice about software and hardware modification

by using PRU-ICSS-ETHERCAT-SLAVE 01_00_07_02

Hi,

We have DP83822 designed in ICE board of AMIC110 which is a variant of AM335x with Cortex-A8 core. You may refer to its schematic here -http://www.ti.com/tool/TMDXICE110.

In terms of software modification, please refer to EtherCAT project for AMIC110 in the PRU-ICSS-ETHERCAT-SLAVE 01_00_07_02.

The general instructions to update pinmux and rebuilding board for Processor SDK RTOS described in the document '5432.AM335x_AMIC110_Board_Porting_using_PRSDK.pdf' attached in the thread - https://e2e.ti.com/support/processors/f/791/t/797120 may help as well.
