AM4378: Touchscreen cursor issue

Dear,

We developed a board based on AM437x-gp-evm and SDK is 4.02 (texas based). We work with eGalax based resistive touch screen. It works fine. Now we changed to eGalax based capacitive touch screen(EXC3147 based eGalax touch controller). The problem is, touch arrow (mouse pointer)does not move when i touch but touch activity works normal. How do i solve this issue?

Hello,

I am wondering if you are able to get the mouse pointer to work with a USB wired mouse connected to your board.

Dear Krunal,

I am not getting your answer. It is USB based EGalax capacitive touch screen. It works normally with resistive touch screen. But mouse curser(pointer) does not move when i use capacitive based touch screen.If i hold it for around 5 sec , mouse pointer moves. But touch Event happens normally even mouse point does not move. What would be the problem.?

Hello,

I am wondering if you could please provide more information about the "mouse pointer". By default, TI SDK does not have any mouse pointer associated with touch inputs. I only see a pointer enumerate if I connect a USB wired mouse to the EVM.
