DRA829 : a foil/matrix with power supply needed for each peripherals

hello everybody ,

If possible  I would like to have a single foil/paper   where I can see summarized  Voltages needed  by every peripherals .

like  if using GPIO Bank )  you need  Vxx +Vxx etc

is there anything like this available ?

thank you

best regards

Carlo

  • Carlo,

The datasheet Table 4-1. Pin Attributes shows the power supply rail that is relevant for each functional signal on the device.  Columns in that table include Ball/Signal Name (e.g., mcu_rgmii1_tx_ctl), IO Voltage Value (1.8V/3.3V for Dual Voltage LVCMOS) and Power supply rail (VDDSHV2_MCU).

From that you can recognize what else is on VDDSHV2_MCU in which case all of the associated signals must operate at the same voltage level (either 1.8V or 3.3V)

I believe that gives the information you are looking for.  Is the issue that you wish it was in an xls or other format?

    Thanks,

    Kyle

  • The PinMuxTool does include some simple power checks.  The user can assign the VDDSHV IO power banks to an voltage level (1.8 or 3.3).  Then when performing IO/pin assignments – you can select the ‘preferred’ voltage for the interface.  If the ‘preferred’ voltage does not match the assignment on the VDDSHV rail – it will give a warning.
