1.can the USB controller transmit data to mount hdd with the DMA channel on the DM355 EVM .do you supply references and programme in the case?

2.how to write ,read ,format and store files in the mount hdd of dm355 development board?please provide me some references and programme or suggestion in the case?

DM355 USB controller has its own internal (CPPI) DMA engine. No need to interface with external (EDMA) DMA engine.

You can mount, read, write, format a USB HDD as any other Storage media. Use "/dev/sd***" device node were "*" refers to the detected partition (name + number) combination.

CPPI is an internal DMA that is inside the USB IP. USB IP uses it to move data to/from memory. 8-10MBps is the throughput number I have seen when DMA is enabled in USB IP.

Does CPPI always move data to/from DDR? I am trying to transfer data to/from between SD and USB Thumb drive. Is it possible that data directly gets copied to/from SD and USB thumb drive?
