Compiler/AM6548: MPU frequency issue

Tool/software: TI C/C++ Compiler

I am unable to change the CPU frequency of AM6548 on EVM IDK board.

I am using SDK 6.0 latest release

field in Linux /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpufreq is blank no file inside it.

Help me with the configuration that needs to be set in kernel config to change the CPU frequency.

Hi Sarfaraz,

At this point in time, we do not support power management options on AM65x in Linux. So cpufreg is not supported. Refer to below e2e threads for latest status.

Thanks for your reply. When can we expect the cpu freq support in SDK, any date from TI ?

There is still no date. You can monitor below e2e thread, it will be updated when we have something new. You can also subscribe for alerts on new SDK releases and check in the release notes.
