Our project board's DDR size is 512MB and the BSP we used is VSDK 3.6. So I modify the code according to the doc: VisionSDK_UserGuide_MemoryMap.pdf chapter 6.6 How To - Modify 1GB Linux Memory map to 512MB Linux Memory map. and then We can run linux on A15, but when IPU load vpdmaLoadFirmware, it runs into an infinite loop.

After doing all this change are you doing a clean build for VSDK and linux.
And are you using the correct dtb file name in uenv.txt file.
Your patch seems proper.
There could be issue with something else.

I surely do a clean and rebuild VSDK. and The dtb file I used is dra71-evm-infoadas.dtb according to file vision_sdk/apps/configs/tda2ex_17x17_evm_linux_all/cfg.mk line 105.
I boot system from SD, and at the uboot stage, the boot cmd is:
