I have got TDA3X EVM board.

I have Adapter board DS90UB960-Q1.- deserializer board

I have TIDA01004 . (Serailzer and camera module.)

I need to have a demo where I want to capture image through TIDA01004 through serializer and then deserializer and recieve image via cAL module and display image as HDMI out.

Capture:-

camera sensor->TIDA01004 serializer->DS90UB960 Dserializer->CSIPHY->CAL module(TDA3)

Display:-

HDMI OUT

Which is the use case which I should use from the one which is provided in "PROCESSOR_SDK_VISION_03_06_00_00\vision_sdk\apps\src\rtos\usecases folder".

I am looking for use case which close to above mentioned application. I hope as all these boards are from Texas I will have a readymade usecase to support these chips.

Hi Vishal,

VisionSDK is not tested with TIDA01004. However a different design with same sensor is supported by VisionSDK. Please check http://www.ti.com/tool/TIDA-00262

In the signal chain you have specified, it would require a minor correction if you want to use TIDA-01004. camera sensor->TIDA01004 serializer->DS90UB964 Dserializer->CSIPHY->CAL module(TDA3)

Even though the sensor is same between these designs and serializer is not. You will have to update VisionSDK to support serializer (UB933)

Ok, thanks for your answer above.

But can you recommend me use case in vision sdk which is close to my application?

I mean Capture through CSI(PHY)->CAl_A (module)->display on HDMI.

I can edit serializer and dserializer settings or driver in that use case but more important part is CAL_A and HDMI display part.

Do you think"csi2_cal_multi_cam_view" is good use case for my requirement as i mentioned above.

Hi Vishal,

Yes, that could be a good option. It's requires UB960 and one of the supported sensors.

Recommend starting with single camera ISS usecase before multi-cam.

UB913 and UB933 have usually the same settings. If there are no other differences between the cameras, then the existing driver should work.
