Jpeg images are not decoding.

I try to decode the some jpeg images using the decoder in null src decode display usecase . It is not showing any errors but after 20 frames it is getting stuck and there is no display of any of the frame.https://e2e.ti.com/cfs-file/__key/communityserver-discussions-components-files/791/Images.7zI have attached a 22 jpeg images in a compressed file.

Please explain what decoder and processor you are using. Are you testing this on an EVM or your own design?

Hi,

Are you changing the usecase with proper width and height of the image and providing the index file generated by original video file as input.

Usecase that you are running required 2 inputs first original video file and 2nd its index file(Containing information about frame size).

You also have to modify and build the usecase with proper width and height and any other params change

Actually the usecase is not the null src display. In the usecsae i am getting the data through network and sending to decoder and to display.

Hi Anuj,

Thanks for the reference,The usecase is working with other images but when i am trying to pass the jpeg images which i have attached(Images.7z) above.The board is getting stuck and i can see a white screen.

Hi,

Are you getting any error log.

Can you debug inside each link and check which link is getting hang.

There is no error log and the hanging is happening at decoder link.

Hi,

Can you check where exactly is it hanging inside decider link.

Is it process call hang or anywhere related to buffer management or somewhere else in link.

Is it hanging in for the first frame only or after processing some frames.

Hi Anuj,

It is not hanging at first frame,after some frames. ,I try to check the place by keeping couple of print statements in the decLink_jpeg.c file in Declink_jpegDecodeFrame function but i cannot figure it out the exact place where it is hanging.
