I found a weird phenomenon on EVM.
It's that display port 0 sometimes doesn't work.
Actually I use a portable monitor which connects to EVM using DP and I also use a Dell U2414H monitor. Their max resolution is FHD as well.
When I use EVM and run some example application such as psd, od and avp,
- If I try connecting to the portable monitor first, I can't see any image on screen. The only message that I can see is No signal.
- If I try connecting to the Dell monitor, It' always normal.
- If I try connecting to the portable monitor after connecting to the Dell one, It's always normal.
I don't think the portable monitor has normal EDID. I think that's why that phenomenon was happened as well.
Unfortunately, the company that made portable monitors couldn't serve any help.
I was wondering If you could help me.
I have an idea. If there is an external EDID on EVM, do you know to correct that EDID like DELL's one?
