Hi,

I want to use PWM to control the brightness of LCD in my application. Is there any PWM example available?

I am using AM335X_StarterWare_02_00_01_01 for windows host PC.

Board Name : EVMSKAM335x.

Hi,

For PWM, both timer and PWMSS module are required or through timer only we can do PWM?

For AM3358 processor

No, both are not required at the same time. Either one or the other can be used.

Already I refer to this section. I didn't get much information from it. Is there any kind of flowchart to get the flow of code for PWM?

No, we do not have such a document. This is also mentioned in the Starterware wiki: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../StarterWare_02.00.01.01_User_Guide

Only Timers 4 to 7 have physical output pins.

It means I have to configure Timer4 as PWM and corresponding pin as a output pin. I will get an PWM output at a corresponding pin, right?
