Hi Hatem,
Can you please develop your question a little more? What these bits should do?

Stan
If I understand well, you mean the flash read protection like in the microcontrollers with embedded RAM/flash.
In DRAxx SoCs, flash and RAM are external chips, so you cannot just write a bit or a fuse and protect from external reading. It could be possible there is flash chips on the market with some read protection but this is out of DRAxx scope, so I can't tell.
It is OS's (Linux) task, when system is up, to protect your files and memory with some hardware assistance (like firewalls, security accelerators, secure ROM boot).
There is also various crypto softwares that can help protect your data. I'm not, however, an expert in this area so it will be hard for me to help any further.

Stan
The protection is not from interfering with the code.
But to stop any user of the board from copying an algo code within the firmware, and then reverse engineer the algo code.
Do you have more info on Secure ROM boot

Hatem
Secure boot spec is not freely available. It can be obtained by your local TI representative under NDA.

Hi Hatem,
Do you communicate with Kyle? Can we close the thread?
