How to improve image quality on DM365 board

Hi,

I am working on DM365 board using kernel 2.6.32 and dvsdk_3_10_00_19 & . I am using mt9p031(5M) sensor for image capture. I am not able to see true colors on my display screen after capturing the camera images.
I have tried to change gain setting (using ipipe_init) but not able to get true image colors. It is showing some dull dark/greenish colors.

Is there any documents available to set the color setting.

Any pointers or links would be very helpful to me.

Hi,

Can you share the image seen on the display device? Also can you share the captured YUV data from the capture driver? We can look at the image and then point on the possible causes of the issue.

Hi,

I am attaching captured YUV data file, and image seen on the display device same as captured yuv data file.

Create a zip file and then attach it. You should be able to upload a zip file on the forum post. I hope you are aware that you need to upload the file by clicking the "Options" tab on the reply webpage.

Hi,

What is the resolution of this image? Also, are you sure you have captured the YUV422 data and not YUV420SP data?

Resolution of image : 640x480, 16bit.

yes, I have captured YUV422 data.

MT9P031 -> CCDC/ISIF ->IPIPEIF ->IPIPE->Resizer->SDRAM

(RAW Bayer RGB) (YUV422)

hi sir,

i am using leopard board dm 365 with a 5 M camera and i want to implement a face detection system using still images. i am planning to develop an application program for it. will you please suggest some info regarding developing a source code for face detection using dm 365 & 5M camera, i am using ridge run SDK to access the board. As i am a new bee in this area i dont have much more information about it. please help me to resolve this issue.

I used a application to open your file, it is displayed correctly. I don't see dark green color. How did you test the capture? You should provide format as uyvy.
