How to begin with WinCE 7.0 and the AM3517 Dev Kit?

I would appreciate any advice on this. From my previous thread I was able to get the AM3517 up and running with the demo .bin image.

However we really need to be developing with WinCE 7.0. I have the CTP but it only includes a BSP for the EVM_3530. Is it possible to modify the TI supplied WinCE 6.0 BSP for WinCE 7.0? Is there a beta Win CE 7.0 BSP for the AM3517 around somewhere?

    Yes it is certainly possible to modify TI supplied WinCE 6.0 BSP for EC7 - that is exactly what TI plans are. We are planning to make public release 1Q after Microsoft's RTM. There is no beta right now but we are planning for early releases to select customers (you have to be part of Microsoft's JDP/ADP program to qualify)

    Thank you for getting back to me on this.

    Right now we have decided to pursue Linux instead of Windows CE. Our application does not have any UI so besides using Visual Studio (which we are all familiar with) we don't see alot of benefits to CE over Linux. If we can't make good progress with Linux we will evaluate CE again when the 7.0 BSP is released for 3505/3517
