66AK2H14: XMDIO clause 45 support

Hi all,

Looking at different e2e threads, it is difficult to conclude whether 66AK2H14 supports clause 45 or not. This post says it used to work and points to a dtsi file, but it is not clear whether that worked with a K2E device or 66AK2H14 which is the thread title. This thread does not conclude either. And this thread says that it is not supported on K2H.

My customer uses a Marvell 3340 PHY, and 66AK2H14 communicates with it using clause 22. Please advise. Thank you.

Hi, Francois,

Is this Linux ProcSDK or MCSDK? what release version? We don't support MCSDK any more if that is the release package used.

The XGbE feature is dropped from ProcSDK Linux.There was example on how to configure mdiox in the k2hk-net.dtsi of MCSDK release. However, the mdiox was not tested in MCSDK because the hardware doesn't use PHY, but retimer.
