Hi Michael,
According to OMAP3530/25 Application Processor, SPRS507F–FEBRUARY 2008–REVISED OCTOBER 2009, Page 44, (CBB pacage), SYS_DRM_MSECURE, AF9 ball is input to OMAP.
According to your answer it is OUTPUT from OMAP.

Meir
Meir:
That is an error in the data manual. SYS_DRM_MSECURE is an output. Below is the complete list of corrections that will be made to
the data manual Ball Characteristics tables when the data manual is updated.

I/O Type Corrections:
sys_drm_secure I => O
mcbsp3_dr O => I
husb3_tll_stp IO => I
husb3_tll_dir IO => O
husb3_tll_nxt IO => O
tv_out1 O => AO
tv_out2 O => AO

Hi,
Can you please say why on Mistral EVM board the TPS65950 MSECURE H8 ball is connected to OMAP3530DCBBA K8 ball (GPIO_64).
It is also connected to OMAP3530 AF9 ball (SYS_DRM_MSECURE, GPIO_22) thru not-placed serial resistor.
Why do Mistral prefer to use GPIO_64 instead of GPIO_22?
Thanks,
Meir
Meir:
Normally GPIO64 is used to read the state of SYS_DRM_SECURE. If the design is not using the SYS_DRM_SECURE signal, H8 can be used as a general-purpose I/O pin (GPIO22) by changing the pin mux setting.

Meir:
On our OMAP3530 processor module (Rev C) AF9 goes to a zero-ohm not-installed resistor. If that resistor is installed it goes to GPIO_64 (K8).
Instead AF9 connects thru a zero-ohm resistor to ETK_D8. The pin mux for AF9 by normally outputs the ETK_D8 signal. AF9 can also be pin muxed
to be GPIO_22, but I don't see GPIO_22 used in our schematic.
