Hi,

Have anyone used DM6446 SPI two CS signals?

According to DM644x SPI U/G (SPRUE32A), DM6446 SPI has the ability to control two slave devices using the signals (SPI_EN0 and SPI_EN1).
I'm planning to use the ability now.

I'd like to get the information about someone using it successfully.

Hi,

I found in our internal testing that this has been tested. To be more specific, in our testcase, we first accessed a EEPROM connected to CS0 and then accessed a EEPROM connected to CS1.

o STEP 1 - Access EEPROM connected CS0 : OK!
o STEP 2 - Access EEPROM connected CS1 : OK!
o STEP 3 - Access EEPROM connected CS0 : OK or NG?

Third step should be ok, here are some careabouts to make sure you take into consideration.

You simply have to handle the configuration properly to talk to the CS that you want, primarily the SPIDAT1 register CSNR field bits. The Dataformat Select bits in the SPIDAT1 register can also be programmed to pre-configured data formats (if you want different type of data formats for each individual CS slave device).
