Does DM355 support Large Block NAND devices?

EMIF supports large block NAND devices, therefore you can have u-boot and Linux Kernel support these large block NAND devices. However, please note that if you plan on booting from NAND device, ROM Boot Loader (RBL) only support booting from NAND devices listed in the ARM Subsystem Guide ( http://focus.ti.com/lit/ug/sprufb3/sprufb3.pdf ).

  • Hello All,

When I burned ubl and uboot on nand flash with small block size (hynix 64MB) using DM35x_FlashAndBootUtils_1_50 through serial port, I got error message "No good blocks in allowed range". I used a new nand flash. So please tell me it is why. thanks a lot.

    Best Regards,
