Hi,

My customer is using the following components from ProcSDK RTOS.

　・DSPLIB C66x 3.4.0.4

　・EDMA3 Low Level Driver 2.12.5

　・IPC 3.50.3.05

　・k2g PDK 1.0.14

　・SYS/BIOS 6.75.2.00

　・System Analyzer (UIA Target) 2.30.1.02

They are asking about the software licenses of those components. The licenses are described in the manifests document, and it seems those are basically BSD-3-Clause, FatFS, Newlib and EPL-1.0. They are worry about that they might have to describe something statements in their user manual of end product (some kind of audio product) about the software licensing. From my understanding, I don't really think they have to take care about this, but just in case, please let me know if my understanding is correct.

I think you are correct, all of these are public licenses and the sources can be used freely.

All the license info has been provided in the software manifest document. There is nothing more I want to add here but please suggest customer read this document.

Hello David,

I've already suggested the customer to read the manifests well, but unfortunately, they could not understand the point i mentioned in the previous post. That is whether they have to insert some statements in the user guide of their final product (Some kind of Audio product) or not. I believe they don't have to do so because i've never heard about such thing from our customers using TI's software components from the Processor SDK RTOS. If you know the quick answer to their question, please let us know.
