Hello.

I have a working project on c6457 with DSP/BIOS 5.41.

There are many functions which use SEM_pend and SEM_post functions. In this way, processor spends many time is in the Idle mode.

How can I calculate how many time processor is in the idle mode (in ticks)?

Try enabling RTA in your application and view the CPU Load graph under Tools -> RTA - CPU Load. This will show you the percentage of time that the CPU is not in idle.

"CPU load graph" shows the average load of CPU.

But I want to know how much time CPU is in the IDLE mode from one moment of time till other.

I want analyze IDLE time, and depending on the IDLE time, i want to be able stop or start filters.
