TDA2HG: the eve can't be Attaching

Hi,all

I am using TDA2px, it is BIOS.

now all the cores are brought up successfully.

if I set PROC_EVE1_INCLUDE=no,and use DSP A15,it's work ok

but if I set PROC_EVE1_INCLUDE=yes ,(only use EVE1 now), then the board print log is as blow

Even I didn't run any alg_link at EVE1,but why other core can't attach to EVE1?

Hi Nigel,

which MAKECONFIG you set in Rules.make? I see that in tda2px_evm_bios_all PROC_EVE1_INCLUDE is set to 'yes'.

Can you try default tda2px_evm_bios_all and see it it works?

Yes, I had make clean and delete the binaries.it's the same error.

The MAKECONFIG in Rules.make is MAKECONFIG?=tda2px_evm_linux_all

Hi Nigel,

for 'tda2px_evm_linux_all' PROC_EVE1_INCLUDE is also set to 'yes'. Can you try to build with default 'vision_sdk/apps/configs/tda2px_evm_linux_all/cfg.mk'.

Hi Yordan,

The SDK software enviroment now is “/tda2px_evm_linux_all/cfg.mk' set PROC_EVE1_INCLUDE = yes”,

Is there any other configuration or oher something that will affect the use of EVE?

I had modified the mem_segment_definition_linux.xs in tda2px,but have no idea about any other file can affect EVE.

the memory map is as below（a part of map relative eve）

Hi Rishabh,

the board we use is customize board from customers,

and I had tried revert the change yestoday,but crash when start,so I want solve this question in a positive way.

so could you give me some other suggestions,any other way can affect DSP attaching to EVE.

Hi Nigel,

In order to root cause the problem I am asking to revert the memory map change and make sure that the use case works.

Hence can you confirm that the use case works without memory map change.
