    This depends on what you are looking for in a GUI, the DM355 is capible of running x windows which could be used as a GUI but that is a bit advanced, you could also look at the demo code that comes with the board as an example. For a basic on screen display of images you may want to start by looking at the application note here which was made around DM6446 but still largely applies to DM355.
