Hello,

I am designing a controller board using TMS320C6747 DSP. Can you please tell me what is the RTC's current consumption?

My requirement is I need to supply the RTC_CVDD via 1.8V rail. if the power fails then I need to supply the RTC_CVDD using the 3V coin cell battery.

Any idea on how to implement the logic? The critical requirement is the coin cell battery atleast need to withstand for 5 to 6 years.

The battery capacity will be 270mAh.

Thanks for the reply.

Actually I need to connect both main supply and battery supply to RTC_CVDD pin.When the main supply goes the battery should supply power to RTC.

The battery cost should be less and non-rechargeable. Expected life time around 5 years as I don't want to replace the battery for life time of the product.

Please suggest if you have any idea on this.

Also can you please conform that the RTC current is 16uA? because I need to select the battery capacity according to that
