PROCESSOR-SDK-TDAX: Can delete TDA4x EVM board OSC1 22.5792MHz clock?

Hi Experts:

Our TDA4x design will not use McASP audio function and just use CSI camera + Radar application.

Now we try to delete OSC1 ( TDA4x pin P29/P27 ) 22.5792MHz crystal, the software work fine.

Can you help us confirm except Linux McASP application. Does TI TDA4x Linux/RTOS OS need use OSC1?

We want to delete those 22.5792 crystal to reduce the BOM cost.

Hi Brijesh:

Inside the device: OSC1 is an alternate clock source for WWDT, Timers, MCAN (There are other clocks as well) so removing this clock source can be okay. Primary use is for McASP to get the right audio clock frequencies.
