Hello,
I saw the introduction to CSI Tx in the Technical Reference Manual(TDA4vM), but the interface was not found in the PinMux tool(J721E_alpha7 version).
Can CSI Tx of TDA4 be used?
Thanks!

Hello,
Yes, it can be use and it's there. It's just not under CSI but rather DSI. Here is the note from TRM
TRM said:The CSI_TX_IF has no dedicated pins. At the device level, the CSI_TX_IF video output goes through the
shared(with DSS_DSI0) DPHY_TX. See chapter ,Shared D-PHY Transmitter (DPHY_TX).
So basically in the PMT you have to configure the DSI pins. Then I believe from the CTRL_MMR you can set that PHY_TX(DSI pins) to be fed by CSI_TX. Here is some more from TRM:
TRM said:Table 12-15828 describes the DPHY_TX0 signals when module is transmitting data from the DSI0
module, and Table 12-15829 describes the DPHY_TX0 signals when transmitting data from the
CSI_TX_IF0 module.
The CTRLMMR_DPHY_TX0_CTRL[1-0] LANE_FUNC_SEL register field in the device Control Module
defines which module is connected to the DPHY_TX0.
Hope it now makes sense,
thanks,
Alex
I see. Thanks for your reply.
There is a littel suggestion in PinMux add CSI2_Tx configuration Tools (Assigning these signal to DSI Pin), avoid to cause confusion.
