DM365 Boot problem

Hello,

I made a custom board based on the DM365 and I cannot boot on it.

I have NAND Flash and microSD card on the circuit and nothing appears on the serial output when booting.

I checked the voltages and it seems that the processor is OK because it creates a clock on the SD0_CLK and some sort of signal on SDO_CMD.

BOOTSEL is set at 000, the Flash is empty so I expect the DM365 to boot from the SD but nothing is going on.

Does anybody have any idea on how to debug this kind of situation (w/o using JTAG preferably)? I need access to the SD card!

Thanks,

Mike

  • Hello Mike,

Were you able to flash the SD succesfully?

If not, please take a look at the this post.

    Thanks,

  • Thank you for the quick answer!

I now can see the BOOTME message (UART boot) or the USB prompt in Windows XP (USB boot) but nothing happens when booting from the SD card... I installed the SD Boot application (on my SD card) you are talking about but I'm not seeing any message on the UART serial prompt.

Maybe there is something going on with the SD card lines.
