usb to usb selective data transfer

for our final year project we are developing a portable embedded device which can transfer data from 1 usb device to the other (only pen drives initially). the device will have a LCD touchscreen for selective data transfer. I'd like to know if T.I. has chips which can easily do this task by having support for two high speed usb 2.0 interfaces and LCD graphic handling capability.

For the AM1x family of devices, we do not have two high speed USB2.0 interfaces. There is one USB peripheral that supports USB2.0, and another that supports USB1.1 (host only mode).

I would recommend using the DSP & ARM MPU Selection tool, http://focus.ti.com/en/multimedia/flash/selection_tools/dsp/dsp.html. This should assist you in selecting the best processor for your application.

Depending on your LCD requirements you might also want to look at the Stellaris processors which have integrated USB controllers. You would still need an external hub/switch to give multi-ports.

The Stallaris devices do not have raster LCD interfaces but can be connected to many LCDs which have integrated frame buffers and use a standard 68xx/80xx interface, SPI, etc...
