TPS659xx MUSB OTG transceiver support in WinCE BSP

“- Fixed syntax errors in tsp659xx MUSB OTG transceiver support. Note that this feature is untested and unsupported.”

I found this line in the "readme.txt" under the folder "TI_EVM_3530". So what's the status now? Because we're just using this HW configuration(HSUSB0 port on OMAP3530,  TPS65930 as PHY) in our design, I'm afraid there're some issues we can't handle and there is no support at all.

  • Jack,

The Mistral EVM on which most of the dev/test happens is not wired to support the tps659xx MUSB OTG transceiver (actually there maybe a way with some hw mods required but the trace lengths on the EVM will make it difficult for this functionality on the EVM). The statement you see in the readme.txt reflects the fact that it cannot be tested on the EVM.

Having said that many customers are using the TPS659xx and we have not heard of major issues.

What problem are you facing and what version of the BSP are you using?
