  The issue is that the FPS will reduce a lot when run kanzi application both in root cell and inmate cell. Which does not match our GPU performance.
        The attachment has two applications, one is simple kanzi and the other one is 3D kanzi . Take the simple-kanzi example first as below:
 
  • Start-up the EVM and run cockpit demo, then run Weston both in root cell and inmate cell.
  • Run simple-kanzi application in root cell or inmate cell separately, the FPS is 60.
  • Then run same application both in root and inmate cell, the  FPS will reduce to 30.
 
So is it normal ? In our opinion, the GPU performance can fully achieve this function both with 60 FPS.
       
        And I offered a 3D-kanzi application in the attachment for you test. This case is much worse than simple-kanzi, the FPS can only reach 18 single, and 10FPS with both.

    Hi Wang,

    Running the same application in root and inmate cells would consume similar resources to that of running two instances of the same application in native mode. If the peak fps that can be achieved by application is 60, running the same in root and inmate cells you should expect half the performance as there are now two instances applications running.

    In regard to the attachment. I can't find it here, can you reattach.
