[TDA4VM] H264 video encoder support in J7 SDK v6.1 release

Hi, expert:

One customer wants to see the DVR demonstration on J7.

I have searched the Processor SDK for J721E (both RTOS and Linux). I cannot find any description in the documentations for H264 video encoder.

Please kindly let me know whether this is already supported in the v6.1 release.

If it is supported, is there a demo to show case the APIs?

    Hi Peter,

    SDK6.1 has support for H264 Encoder driver on Linux SDK (not on RTOS SDK). The driver has standard Linux V4L2 interface and unit test is provided for call sequence reference. The component usage is captured in Linux SDK user guide document.

    Please let me know if you still have issue with accessing it or need more details about the module.
