Mcasp support for davinci dm6467

Hi,

am using davinci dm6467 processor and other end am using silicon image transmitter in my design.

I want to send the auiod dat through Mcasp interface to the HDMI Transmitter, i want to transmit the data in mcasp0 and its serializer 1 and receive should happen through serializer 0. Its just reverse of davinci evm audio codec connection.

Am trying the write using dmai sound_write function, but before transmitting, transmit bit is not ready for that serializer.

Actually am avoiding the existing audio codec (AIC32 write function) driver in the kernel by commenting that lines.

My doubt to get the audio data output from the processor, whether codec plays any role?

Is there any way to avoid the code initialization??

Can you suggest on this??
