AM3358: RTU Modbus support

Hello Everyone,

I am working on AM3358 development board and right now i want to implement RTU Modbus for same board on RS232/RS485 port using UART protocol.

So i wanted know that how/where to start it.

If anyone knows, then please reply me.

I'm sorry, I should have been more clear, what software are you planning to run on the target (i.e. the AM3358) device itself?

Yes RonB,

I am planning to implement RTU Modbus master/slave over UART on AM3358 development board.

My target is to implement RTU Modbus master and RTU Modbus slave both.

So in Modbus master AM3358 sends the query to slave output device and Modbus slave send response to Modbus master AM3358.

using serial port API, there are a lot of example codes on the Website.
