PRTCSS and power down sequance

Hello everyone,

I am making a design that doesn't use to power sequencer inside the dm368, so what i have done is to put the PRTCSS on reset mode and i sequenced the voltages with LDO's in a chain as noted in slva355 (Simple Power Solution Using LDOs for the DM365).

I have 2 questions reguarding that manner:

1. is it OK to power the 1.2v PRTCSS with the 1.35 core voltage?

2. at the manual i have mentioned before there is an explanation how to power up with LDO but it was not explained how the power down works with this solution.

Thanks,

Pini Sberro

  • Hello Pini,

    1. The 1.2V PRTCSS pin (VDD12_PRTCSS) spec' ed 1.20V (216Mhz/270Mhz) or 1.35V (300Mhz) (see section 5.2 and 6.3 of the DM365 DS(SPRS457D)) so it is ok to power it with the 1.35V core voltage if the DM365 is operating at 300Mhz.

    2. The power down sequence is discussed in section 6.4 of the DM365 DS (SPRS457D).

    Thanks,
