AM3352: CPSW driver issue with IGH EtherCAT

Hi,

My problem is the same with this site. I simply modify it as follows:

 //#define CPSW_MIN_PACKET_SIZE    (VLAN_ETH_ZLEN)
 #define CPSW_MIN_PACKET_SIZE    60

Under the simple test, IGH EtherCAT is OK. I would like to know if there is any problem caused by such modification.

Hello,

That change is along the lines of what needs to be changed. If it works for you in your testing for you specific use case, it may be fine. We are working on a more scalable solution.

Hi,

The key capability change is that with this change VLAN packets will not possible on this interface. If the interface is strictly going to be EtherCAT then I imagine this will not be an issue.
