Hello,

I am using PLSDK 05.03.00.07.

Below is my pipeline running on am5726 board.

gst-launch-1.0 videotestsrc ! 'video/x-raw, format=(string)YUY2, width=(int)2048, height=(int)1536, framerate=30/1' ! vpe ! ducatih264enc rate-preset=1 level=42 ! queue ! rtspserver ! fakesink

Attached the output video of same pipelind recorded over vlc.

You can see at right most side there is horizontal lines occurs. What is the reason behind that.

Hello Prerak,

Using PSDK 5.3, I ran the following pipeline and I am not observing the horizontal line on my LCD screen:

gst-launch-1.0 videotestsrc ! 'video/x-raw,format=(string)YUY2,width=1280,height=720,framerate=(fraction)30/1' ! vpe ! ducatih264enc rate-preset=1 level=42 !  h264parse ! queue ! ducatih264dec ! kmssink

Hello Krunal,

As my resolution 2048x1536 is under VPE's limitation. Then what is the reason behind it?

Hello Prerak,

I am internally checking the limitation of the VPE and I will keep you posted on any updates. In the meantime, I am wondering if you could please use videoconvert instead of vpe.
